DeutschThe village of Kastellos Apokoronas is situated in the Chania-district close to the city of Rethymno. It clings to a hillside in splendid isolation, appr. 5 km away from the beach. The solitary village street of Kastellos zigzags upwards 2 km to a romantic church on the hilltop. From there you can enjoy a marvellous view on the Bay of Georgioupoli with its sandy beach, especially at sunset.
