Werner Horvath: "John Lennon - Peace Altar". Oil on wood, 100 x 261 cm.

Most parts of the altar were created in the Villa Arte on the island of Crete. The artwork was extended by two more wings in summer 2007.

The outside of the altar (below) wears lyrics by Hsing Lee concerning peace. Read forwards or backwards, it's the same and it takes you full circle the way it does.
