This painting is part of the giant composition "War and Peace" by Werner Horvath, which consists of 100 oil paintings fitting together (see below): 

The painting "King Cobra" works as the new head  of the "Echidna", known from the Greek mythology. It is said, that she is the mother of all existing monsters.
